Sometime between 03/03/08 and 03/05/08, an unknown subject used green spray paint to and spray painted the words ?Blink? and ?SYUTI,? on the walls of a building. The reporting party advised that a subject parked at the tubes removed a supporting stake to a porta potty and then threw it into the water. The subject was later located and positively identified by the witness. The estimated damage to the porta potty is $10.00. The reporting party advised that her boyfriend failed to meet her for dinner on 03/27/08 at 2230 hours. After Officers took the report, the missing person was located in good health at a nearby hotel at his own will. The missing subject was removed from the Missing Persons System. Case closed. Possession of Narcotics
Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a vehicle code violation. The driver was on probation and was subject to search. The search revealed that he was in possession of prescription drugs that were not prescribed to him. The passenger in the vehicle was in possession of a small amount of marijuana. The passenger was cited and released at the scene for the possession of marijuana and the driver was arrested and booked into Jail for possession of prescription drugs. Case closed. Officers responded on the report of a female who was currently under conservator ship and not taking her psychiatric medicine. Officers responded and were advised via dispatch that the female was currently listed as a gravely disabled missing person out of the San Mateo County Sheriffs Office. Public Intoxication
While on routine patrol, Officers encountered a male subject who was extremely intoxicated and was involved in a brief physical altercation as his family attempted to gain control of him. Armed Robbery
The reporting party advised that on 03/02/08 at approximately 2338 hours, he was attacked by five male subjects who took his wallet and cell phone. The victim advised that he was heavily intoxicated when the attack took place and he could not provide details on how the attack occurred or any additional information on the suspects. The victim was transported to the hospital where he was treated for a complaint of pain to his right wrist. This case has been forwarded to the detective bureau for further investigation. The reporting party advised that on 03/16/08, an unknown subject used his American Express Card at a Best Buy to purchase electronic equipment valuing $275.26. The purchase was made through the internet and the products were shipped to an address in Brooklyn, New York. The victim gave nobody permission to make this purchase using his credit card. This case has been forwarded to the Brisbane Police Department Detective Bureau and the New York Police Department for follow up investigations. This case is on-going. Report #08-0319-003.

Driving under the Influence
While on patrol, an officer located a vehicle with it?s engine running, parked in a business parking lot. The officer made contact with the driver who was asleep in the driver seat. The officer smelled and odor of alcohol coming from inside the vehicle and requested the driver to perform Field Sobriety Tests. The driver refused and was then arrested for DUI and booked into jail. The reporting party advised that while he was away on a military deployment, a subject he entrusted to pay his expenses, embezzled over $19,000.00 from his account. Attempted Robbery
The victim reported that while he was sitting inside his vehicle, parked in front of his residence, an unknown vehicle pulled up behind his truck and two individuals attempted to take a jack hammer from the open bed of his truck. The victim confronted the suspects causing them to drop the jack hammer. One of the suspects then struck the reporting party in the face and fled the scene. The victim obtained the suspect vehicle?s license plate and then called the police. The suspect was located at his home the following day and was arrested and booked into jail. Possession of Marijuana
While conducting a traffic enforcement stop, officers smelled an odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A subsequent investigation revealed the passenger to be in possession of Marijuana (less than an ounce). The marijuana was taken for evidence and the passenger was issued a misdemeanor citation for being in possession of marijuana. Case closed. Report #08-0310-002.

Commercial Burglary
The reporting party advised that on 03/12/08 between 0300 hours and 0312 hours, three unknown subjects entered their secured job yard and took a sledge hammer from one of the work trucks and a couple of reels of copper. The total estimated loss is $3,000.00. The camera surveillance footage shows the three subjects opening the main secured gate with a key and driving into the yard with their vehicle, which was pulling a flat bed trailer. The suspects and vehicle could not be clearly identified in the video. This case has been closed due to insufficient suspect leads. Report #08-0312-001. .

Vandalism
The reporting party advised that an unknown subject spray painted graffiti on one of his work vans. The reporting party had video surveillance cameras set up outside of his business that showed the suspect committing the crime and a suspect vehicle, white Honda. While the officer was taking the report at the scene, the white Honda returned to the scene of the crime. The vehicle and the driver were detained and the driver later admitted to the crime. The victim and the suspect agreed to handle the damages civilly. The victim requested no prosecution at this time. Case closed. Report #08-0309-001.
