Recovered Stolen Vehicle/Arrest
While conducting a routine area check, an officer stopped a group of male subject?s who appeared to have just dumped a stolen vehicle and were walking away from it. Only one of the subjects was detained. As the male individual was detained by the officer, the owner of the vehicle was in the progress of filing her vehicle stolen in San Francisco. The juvenile was booked into Hillcrest Juvenile Detention Facility and the vehicle was returned to the owner. Case closed. Report #09-0809-002.
