Expired registration
On 1/15, an officer located a vehicle parked on the 100 block of San Benito Rd. with expired registration. The officer conducted a registration check and found the vehicle to have been expired over 6 months. The vehicle was towed for having registration expired over 6 months while being parked on a public roadway. Case closed Report # 13-0115-0002.

Disturbance
On 1/1, a citizen reported to police a disturbance between two subjects where one allegedly threatened to harm the other person?s dog. The threat was not taken seriously by the reporting party. The situation was mediated. Case taken for documentation only. Report # 13-0101-0003.

Deceased Person
On 1/1, neighbors reported to police they have not seen one of the tenants in the area for some time. They requested officers to conduct a welfare check on the subject. When officers responded, they found the residence unlocked and found the tenant deceased. There is no indication of any criminal activity. Relatives indicated the decedent was under a doctor?s care. The corner was notified and allowed the body to be released to the family. Case taken for documentation. Report # 13-0101-0004.

Brandishing Firearm/Threats
On 1/22, the victims reported to police that an unknown suspect brandished a handgun and threatened to kill them at the 300 block of Alvarado St. The victims and suspect were involved in a ?road rage? incident on Visitacion Ave./Mariposa St. Both the victim exchanged words and parted ways. Approximately 20 minutes later, the suspect found the victims working at a home in the 300 block of Alvarado St. where he brandished the handgun and made the threats. Several leads were checked, but the victims have been unable to identify a suspect. The investigation is ongoing. Report # 13-0122-0003.

Domestic Related Incident
On 1/28, an anonymous party notified police of a disturbance between a couple residing at the 200 block of Klamath St. The parties were determined to have been involved in a verbal dispute. No crime was committed. Case is for documentation only. Report # 13-0128-0002.

Runaway Juvenile
On 1/20, the mother reported to police her juvenile son had runaway after an argument. It was unknown as to where he had gone. The juvenile was entered into the Missing Persons System. The juvenile eventually returned home later in the morning. He was removed from the Missing Persons System. Report # 13-0120-0001

Mental Evaluation
On 1/20, a citizen reported to police he observed a fight between two subjects. Upon police arrival, it was determined the subjects were involved in a physical fight over a preexisting disagreement between them. Neither party wanted to file criminal charges. One of the subjects was extremely agitated and would not calm down. It was determined the subject posed a danger to others and was not taking his medication. He was transported to a local hospital for a mental evaluation. Report # 13-0120-0002.

Non-Injury Accident
On 1/22, the driver of a vehicle reported to police that his vehicle snagged a telephone line at the corner of Bayshore Blvd./San Bruno Ave. This caused the line to detach from several poles. The telephone company was notified. An informational report was filed. Report #13-0122-0001

Informational Case; Fraud
On 1/22, Riverside County Sherriff?s Department forwarded a fraud report to the Brisbane Police Department. Someone attempted to use the victim?s credit card to make a purchase and found an associated address in Brisbane. After further investigation, it was determined the address does not exist. In addition, a possible related address was determined to have been unoccupied during the time frame of this incident. No crime could be substantiated as occurring in Brisbane. Coroner?s Case
On 1/19, a neighbor reported to police he had not seen his neighbor for approximately 4-5 weeks. They notified police out of concern. Officers and Fire responded and entered the home. They found the subject deceased. There was no indication of any criminal activity. The Coroner was notified and eventually took possession of the body. Report # 13-0119-0002

On 1/16, the victim report to police that someone used her personal identifying information to open four cellular accounts. The suspect(s) did not have permission from the victim. Non-Injury Hit and Run
On 1/1, a citizen reported to police an abandoned suspicious vehicle was left in the area of Golden Eagle Dr. The vehicle had indication it was involved in an accident. Officers determined the vehicle had collided with a tree in the area of Bayshore Blvd./Guadalupe Canyon Pkwy. The driver was later located and identified. Warrant Arrest/Poss. of controlled substance
On 1/14, a Brisbane Officer recognized a subject near the unit block of Visitacion Ave. whom he had prior contacts with. The officer conducted a records check and found an active arrest warrant. The subject was contacted and arrested for the warrant. During a search of the subject, the subject was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine. He was arrested and booked at the county jail. Case closed. Report # 13-0114-0002.

Fraudulent Check
On 1/15, the Brisbane Police Department received a fax from another agency regarding a subject passing a fraudulent check in their city. The check had the name of a company in Brisbane. An investigation was conducted and the company was contacted. The company advised their account has been compromised, but their bank was well aware of the situation and the company has not suffered any monetary loss. Case closed. Report # 13-0115-0001.

Coroner?s Case
On 1/14, family members reported to the fire department they found a relative down on the floor of his bedroom. Police and Fire responded to the scene and conducted CPR. After the ambulance arrived, efforts to revive the subject were stopped after consulting an ER doctor. The subject was pronounced deceased. It was determined the subject had a history of medical problems and the death appeared to be natural causes. The body was released to the family per the county coroner. Case closed. APS Referral
On 1/8, a neighbor called medics on behalf of her neighbor after she told her she had fallen earlier in the week and now couldn?t move. Brisbane Fire and an Officer responded and entered the residence. Fire/Medical personnel assisted the resident. While at the residence, officers observed indications of unsanitary living conditions and hoarding. The resident was transported to the hospital. Officer took a report and will refer the issue to Adult Protective Services. Report # 13-0108-0001.

On 1/3, citizens reported to police of a subject lying on the ground in the unit block of Visitacion Ave. Upon arrival, officers determined the subject was passed out and highly intoxicated. She is familiar to officers based on prior contacts. The person was determined to be too intoxicated to care for herself and was arrested for public intoxication. Found Property
On 1/5, relatives of a resident who passed away on 1/1 located two handguns after a cleanup of the property. The relatives turned the guns over to the police department. One of the guns had been reported stolen in Vallejo. The guns were placed into evidence and Vallejo PD was notified of the recovery of the stolen gun. Report # 13-0105-0001.
