Harassing Phone Calls
The victim reported she had received numerous annoying phone calls from a subject asking for money claiming to be a federal agent. The victim was able to determine the caller was attempting to scam her out of money and the police were notified. The caller was contacted by the victim and police and told not to call back. Officers responded to a call of a female screaming in the area. Upon arrival officers contacted a male and female subject. It was determined the two had a verbal argument only. The juvenile reporting party stated he was ?choked? by another juvenile male. Both parties and witnesses were interviewed. It was later determined that there was a mutual verbal argument and one subject shoved the other. No injuries sustained by either party. Both parties? parents were spoken with. Use of Force
On 2/2, an officer conducted and enforcement stop on subjects in a vehicle parked in the tunnel to the rear of 200 Valley Dr. As the officer approached the driver started the vehicle and put the vehicle in gear. The officer feared the driver would strike him with the vehicle and drew his handgun and initiated a high risk stop. It was later determined the driver had a BB gun that replicated a 357. The driver stated he was in the area to shoot his BB gun. The driver was admonished of the BMC prohibiting the discharge of the weapon. Case taken for information. Report #14-0202-0002
