An officer marked an abandoned vehicle on 3/29. A warning sticker was placed on the vehicle indicating it was subject to tow if not moved in 72 hours. An officer cited and warned a vehicle for parking in a restricted area between the hours of 0200 and 0400 hours with signs posted for tow away. Annoying Phone Calls
An officer responded to a call of annoying and harassing phone calls. The caller had left approximately 23 vulgar and obscene phone messages on the victims work cellphone within a 3 day period. Hit and Run
Reporting party stated he parked his vehicle on the road near his home. Several hours later the reporting party noticed damage to the driver?s side of his vehicle. Assault with a Deadly Weapon
Officers responded to a verbal argument that escalated to a physical altercation. The victim was struck with a portable radio and sustained a cut to her upper lip. A witness who attempted to stop the altercation sustained a cut to her forehead. The suspect sustained minor abrasions to his nose, forehead and temple and also had a bump on the back of his head. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #14-0428-0007

An officer responded to a report of a vandalism to a vehicle. Upon arrival the reporting party told the officer the side mirror on her vehicle had been broken off. Fraud
The victim reported that she had been receiving calls at work from a debt collector. The victim was not aware of any debt, but because the calls were so persistent, she agreed to start paying with a prepaid credit card. The victim became suspicious when different people began calling her for the payment. She then called the police. This case is ongoing. Report #14-0429-0002

An officer responded to a suspicious person call. The described subject was not found. A short time later the officer was dispatched to Thomas Ave where several locked vehicles were burglarized and several vehicles were entered by unknown means. A witness reported a driver driving recklessly on 101. They followed the vehicle to The Village parking and also noticed the driver was smoking something from a piece of foil. The reporting party in the above robbery case told police her boyfriend had taken tires and rims without permission from a home on Alvarado St. The victim was contacted and confirmed the tires and rims had been stolen sometime in December of 2013. The reporting party stated she was walking her dog when two dogs from a nearby yard attacked her dog which sustained a minor injury. Hit and Run
While investigating a hit and run, the officer found the suspect responsible for the damage. The suspect admitted to not leaving a note for the owner prior to leaving the scene. During a search, the suspect was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and stolen motorcycle parts. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the San Mateo County Jail and an additional charge of violating probation was also added. Case closed by arrest. Report #14-0406-0001

Officers responded to a report of a verbal dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend. The boyfriend had grabbed the girlfriend?s finger when she pointed at him. No injuries or complaints of pain. During contact a records check revealed the male subject had a warrant out of San Mateo County. The male was taken into custody for the warrant and a report was taken for a domestic related incident.
