Stolen Vehicle
On 1/31 at 0221 hours, San Francisco Police called Brisbane Police and advised that they had a rollover accident and the occupants fled on foot. The vehicle was registered to a resident out of Brisbane. At 0840 hours, the registered owner reported the vehicle stolen out of Brisbane sometime between 1/30 and 1/31. Suspicious Persons
On 1/30 at 2130 hours, an officer was conducted a patrol check of the area when she noticed a suspicious vehicle driving slowly up and down streets in the area. The subjects were stopped and questioned. It is believed the subjects were related to the suspect arrested in the earlier residential burglary in the area. The subjects were questioned, identified and released from the scene. Case closed. Report #16-0130-002.

DUI
On 1/30 at 1350 hours, officers responded to a call of a non-injury collision. Upon contact, it was determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. Expired Registration
On 1/29 at 1302 hours, an officer noticed a vehicle with expired registration. A records check revealed the registration tabs belonged to another vehicle that the registered owner owned. The tabs were taken and the vehicle was towed for expired registration over 6 months. Case closed. Report #16-0129-002.

Possession of a Controlled Substance
On 1/29 at 1339 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. While speaking with the subjects, open containers of alcohol was found in the vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle, a small amount of methamphetamine was found. The subject was cited and released from the scene. Case closed by arrest. Report #16-0129-001.

On 1/28 at 1235 hours, a residents called regarding two suspicious people who were surveying property in the area. The subjects were contacted and a records check revealed one subject had two $10,000 warrants out of Alameda County. January 27, 2016
Residential Burglary
On 1/27 at approximately 9:47pm, a resident heard her door bell ring, which she elected not to answer. A few moments later, she heard the sound of someone attempting to turn the doorknob followed by glass breaking coming from her garage. Officers located and arrested a subject hiding in a vehicle outside the residence. It is believed that a second suspect fled the scene on foot prior to our arrival. The suspect did not gain entry into the home and was not located after a perimeter search with K-9's from Daly City and South San Francisco Police. On 1/28 at 1:00 am, while officers were investigating the above mentioned incident, we received a call from a resident elsewhere on the Ridge. The resident had just arrived home and found his home had been burglarized. This case is currently under investigation. Report #16-0127-002 and 16-0128-001.

Illegal Dumping
On 1/26 at 1009 hours, an officer responded to an illegal dumping complaint. The owners of the business stated furniture and boxes were placed in their dumpster without permission. The owners of the business stated an identifying piece of property was found and that they just wanted the person responsible told they are not allowed to use the dumpsters. Dog Bite
On 1/22 at 1700 hours, a dog attacked another dog as it walked down the street. The owner of the dog called and stated her dog was on leash when she walked past a home and an unleashed dog attacked her dog causing minor injury. Both parties discussed the incident and a report was forwarded to Peninsula Humane Society for review. Case closed. Report #16-0122-002.

On 1/19 at 1316 hours, a subject who knew he had a warrant for his arrest came to the Brisbane Police Department to talk to the on duty officers. On 1/18 at 1952 hours, officers were called to a drunk subject refusing to pay his cab fare. The cab driver requested a citizen’s arrest. On 1/18 at 1850 hours, a couple were involved in a physical disturbance inside their vehicle. The female had struck the male several times with her hands. On 1/10 at 2206 hours, an officer located graffiti on the wall of the men’s restroom. The officer was familiar with the type of graffiti and contacted the subject he thought responsible. The subjects were advised that releasing fish into the water was a violation of a Fish and Game code. The subjects were released from the scene. On 1/7 at 1637 hours, an officer observed a subject on a motorcycle driving recklessly. As the officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the subject crossed over the divided highway and drove south in the north lanes of traffic. Sometime between 1/5 and 1/6, an unknown suspect(s) dumped 14 Christmas trees, a stove and a cabinet in the victim’s front yard. The victim also stated that on 11/2, an unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the garage and vandalized the interior with paint causing approximately $1,000 worth of damage. Assault with a Deadly Weapon
On 1/3 at approximately 1300 hours, two subjects were involved in a verbal and physical altercation. During the fight, one subject used a metal ratchet wrench to strike the other several times in the face and on the back causing injuries. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived, but was later located in South San Francisco where he was arrested and booked into the San Mateo Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #16-0103-001.

On 1/1 at 0359 hours, an officer was dispatched to locate a female walking around with no shoes. Upon contact the female stated she had been kidnapped in Oakland on 12/31. She then escaped from the men who had kidnapped her while they were in San Francisco. Officers drove the female to the Oakland Police Department to investigate this incident. On 1/1 at 0140 hours, an officer attempted to conduct a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. The vehicle failed to yield to the officer and continued to drive until coming to a stop on the unit block of Warbler Lane. Upon contact with the driver the officer smelled odor of alcohol. Field sobriety tests were conducted and the driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to the county jail. Case closed by arrest.
