On 1/31 at 0221 hours, San Francisco Police called Brisbane Police and advised that they had a rollover accident and the occupants fled on foot. The vehicle was registered to a resident out of Brisbane. At 0840 hours, the registered owner reported the vehicle stolen out of Brisbane sometime between 1/30 and 1/31. On 1/30 at 2130 hours, an officer was conducted a patrol check of the area when she noticed a suspicious vehicle driving slowly up and down streets in the area. The subjects were stopped and questioned. It is believed the subjects were related to the suspect arrested in the earlier residential burglary in the area. The subjects were questioned, identified and released from the scene. Case closed. Report #16-0130-002.

On 1/30 at 1350 hours, officers responded to a call of a non-injury collision. Upon contact, it was determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was taken into custody and transported to First Chance where she was cited and released. Case closed by arrest. Report #16-0130-001.

On 1/29 at 1739 hours, an officer responded to a call of a fraud. Upon arrival the victim stated his credit card had been used in Georgia without his permission. The bank would be investigating the fraud but asked that a report be taken. Case taken for information only. Report #16-0129-003.

On 1/29 at 1302 hours, an officer noticed a vehicle with expired registration. A records check revealed the registration tabs belonged to another vehicle that the registered owner owned. The tabs were taken and the vehicle was towed for expired registration over 6 months. Case closed. Report #16-0129-002.

On 1/29 at 1339 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. While speaking with the subjects, open containers of alcohol was found in the vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle, a small amount of methamphetamine was found. The subject was cited and released from the scene. Case closed by arrest. Report #16-0129-001.

On 1/28 at 1235 hours, a residents called regarding two suspicious people who were surveying property in the area. The subjects were contacted and a records check revealed one subject had two $10,000 warrants out of Alameda County. The warrants were confirmed and the subject was taken into custody and transported to the county jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #16-0128-002.

On 1/28 at 2230 hours, an ex boyfriend and girlfriend were involved in a verbal argument. Both parties separated and were sent on their way. Case taken for information. Report #16-0128-003.

On 1/27 at approximately 9:47pm, a resident heard her door bell ring, which she elected not to answer. A few moments later, she heard the sound of someone attempting to turn the doorknob followed by glass breaking coming from her garage. Officers located and arrested a subject hiding in a vehicle outside the residence. It is believed that a second suspect fled the scene on foot prior to our arrival. The suspect did not gain entry into the home and was not located after a perimeter search with K-9's from Daly City and South San Francisco Police. On 1/28 at 1:00 am, while officers were investigating the above mentioned incident, we received a call from a resident elsewhere on the Ridge. The resident had just arrived home and found his home had been burglarized. This case is currently under investigation. Report #16-0127-002 and 16-0128-001.

On 1/26 at 1325 hours, a resident wanted to report that his vehicle had been vandalized. The resident stated the thought it may be a neighbor he had problems with but could not be certain. A neighborhood check was conducted. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #16-0126-002.

On 1/26 at 1009 hours, an officer responded to an illegal dumping complaint. The owners of the business stated furniture and boxes were placed in their dumpster without permission. The owners of the business stated an identifying piece of property was found and that they just wanted the person responsible told they are not allowed to use the dumpsters. On 1/25 at 1348 hours, an officer responded to an illegally dumping complaint. Miscellaneous junk was thrown to the rear of the building. No identifying information was located. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #16-0125-005.

On 1/22 at 1700 hours, a dog attacked another dog as it walked down the street. The owner of the dog called and stated her dog was on leash when she walked past a home and an unleashed dog attacked her dog causing minor injury. Both parties discussed the incident and a report was forwarded to Peninsula Humane Society for review. Case closed. Report #16-0122-002.

On 1/22 sometime between 1430 and 1500, an unknown suspect(s) smashed the windows on 2 vehicles and took a number of miscellaneous items including a make-up bag and checks. On 1/19 at 1316 hours, a subject who knew he had a warrant for his arrest came to the Brisbane Police Department to talk to the on duty officers. The $2500 warrant issued by Fish and Game was confirmed and the subject was given a new court date and cited and released from the scene. Case closed by arrest. Report #16-0119-001.

On 1/18 at 1952 hours, officers were called to a drunk subject refusing to pay his cab fare. The cab driver requested a citizen’s arrest. The subject was also intoxicated to the point he was unable to care for himself. The subject was taken into custody and transported the county jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #16-0118-004.

On 1/18 at 1850 hours, a couple were involved in a physical disturbance inside their vehicle. The female had struck the male several times with her hands. The male sustained no visible injuries and did not have any complaints of pain. The female was taken into custody and transported to the county jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #16-0118-003.

On 1/18 at 1740 hours, officers contacted a subject known to have a $2500 warrant issued by Fish and Game. The warrant was confirmed and the subject was given a new court date and cited and released from the scene. Case closed by arrest. Report #16-0118-002.

On 1/18 at 1807 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. A DMV records check revealed a No Bail warrant out of San Francisco. The warrant was confirmed and the subject was taken into custody and transported to the county jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #16-0118-001.

On 1/16 at 0205 hours, officers received an anonymous call of verbal dispute in the area. Officers located the couple who stated the dispute was verbal only. Sometime between 1/4 and 1/7 and unknown took a package from a doorstep without permission. The value of the property is $709.94. The victim was out of town at the time of the theft. Sometime between 1/13 and 1/14 an unknown suspect(s) shot and killed three ducks and left them in the marina parking lot. The ducks appear to have been shot by a high powered BB/pellet gun. There is no suspect information. Case suspended pending further investigative leads. Report #16-0114-004.

On 1/14 at Brisbane Officers were called to assist Child Protective Services on a child abuse allegation. Interviews/investigations were conducted and there was no merit to the child abuse allegation. Case to be forwarded to San Mateo Human Services Agency. Report #16-0114-003.

On 1/14 at 0957 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. A DMV records check revealed the driver’s license had expired in 2008. The driver was cited for suspended driver’s license and released from the scene. Case closed. Report #16-0114-001.

On 1/13 sometime between 1230 and 1345, an unknown suspect(s) smashed the windows on 3 vehicles and took a number of miscellaneous items including a tablet, laptop, sunglasses and gym clothes. On 1/13 at 1030 hours, an officer was dispatched to a suspicious vehicle that was found to be stolen out of Alameda. The vehicle was unoccupied with a number of major parts missing. There was no evidence left at the scene. Case closed pending suspect leads. Report #16-0113-002.

On 1/13 at 2343 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. Upon contact and conducting a series of tests, the driver was found to be under the influence of a stimulant. On 1/11 at 2126 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. Upon contact and subsequent field sobriety tests, the officer determined that the driver had been driving under the influence of alcohol. On 1/11 at 0922 hours, officers responded to a report of a husband who had pushed his wife. Upon arrival officers were unable to determine exactly what had happened due to conflicting statements and no witnesses. On 1/10 at 2206 hours, an officer located graffiti on the wall of the men’s restroom. The officer was familiar with the type of graffiti and contacted the subject he thought responsible. The subject admitted to the graffiti and was then cleaned up the graffiti. The subject was released from the scene. Case taken for information only. Report #16-0110-003.

On 1/10 at 1912 hours, a subject entered a restaurant, ordered food and then without paying. The subject was located in the parking and taken into custody. The subject was later cited and released from the scene. Case closed by arrest. Report #16-0110-002.

On 1/10 at 0951 hours, an officer contacted several subjects who were releasing store bought fish into the bay to save them from being eaten. The subjects were advised that releasing fish into the water was a violation of a Fish and Game code. The subjects were released from the scene. On 1/8 at 1200 hours, a laptop computer was turned in to the Brisbane Police Department as found property. After inspecting the laptop, the officer was able to contact the owner who stated it had been stolen out of Burlingame on 1/7. This case will be forwarded to Burlingame PD for information. On 1/7 between 1430 and 1700 hours, an unknown suspect(s) pried open 6 mailboxes. It is unknown if any mail was taken. Case taken for information only. Report #16-0107-003.

On 1/7 at 1637 hours, an officer observed a subject on a motorcycle driving recklessly. As the officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the subject crossed over the divided highway and drove south in the north lanes of traffic. The subject then drove into a field and hid from officers. The subject was eventually found and cited and released from the scene. Case closed by arrest. Report #16-0107-002.

Sometime between 1/5 and 1/6, an unknown suspect(s) dumped 14 Christmas trees, a stove and a cabinet in the victim’s front yard. The victim also stated that on 11/2, an unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the garage and vandalized the interior with paint causing approximately $1,000 worth of damage. On 1/6 at 0422 hours, an officer responded to an outside assist call with the Brisbane Fire Department. Upon arrival it was determined the resident attempted to take his own life. The resident was rushed to the hospital and was placed on a 72 hour hold for being a danger to himself. Case closed. Report #16-0106-001.

On 1/5 at 2042 hours, an officer contacted two subjects in a suspicious vehicle. A records check was conducted and one subject was found to be on probation with search and seizure. Upon searching the vehicle methamphetamine a glass pipe used to smoke it was found. Both subjects were taken into custody and transported to the county jail. Case closed by arrest. On 1/5 sometime between 1230 and 1330 hours, an unknown suspect(s) smashed the window on a vehicle and took a bag containing a laptop computer, 2 smart phones, a tablet and headphones. On 1/5 sometime between 1315 and 1345 hours, an unknown suspect(s) smashed the window on a vehicle and took a bag containing a laptop computer and miscellaneous items. On 1/1 at 1705 hours, a known suspect is seen on video surveillance taking property without permission from a business. An officer positively identified the subject seen in the video. He suspect was already in custody at the county jail and these additional charges were filed against the suspect. Case closed. Report #16-0105-001.

On 1/4 at 2219 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. A broken glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine was found and a vehicle search was conducted. During the search a California Driver’s License that did not belong to the driver was found. The driver was cited and released from the scene. Sometime between 12/22 and 1/4, an unknown suspect(s) made entry into a vehicle by smashing the window. The suspect(s) then took miscellaneous child related items amounting to approximately $575. On 1/3 at approximately 1300 hours, two subjects were involved in a verbal and physical altercation. During the fight, one subject used a metal ratchet wrench to strike the other several times in the face and on the back causing injuries. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived, but was later located in South San Francisco where he was arrested and booked into the San Mateo Jail. Case closed by arrest. Report #16-0103-001.

On 1/1 at 0359 hours, an officer was dispatched to locate a female walking around with no shoes. Upon contact the female stated she had been kidnapped in Oakland on 12/31. She then escaped from the men who had kidnapped her while they were in San Francisco. Officers drove the female to the Oakland Police Department to investigate this incident. On 1/1 at 0140 hours, an officer attempted to conduct a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. The vehicle failed to yield to the officer and continued to drive until coming to a stop on the unit block of Warbler Lane. Upon contact with the driver the officer smelled odor of alcohol. Field sobriety tests were conducted and the driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to the county jail. Case closed by arrest.
