On 3/28 the victim was contacted by her credit card company and asked if she had made some suspicious purchases. When the victim stated she had not made the purchases the account was closed. Fraud
On 3/18 the victim was contacted by a company claiming to be a loan service and that the victim was approved for a grant. The victim proceed to give the company $3,257.00 for various fees, but never received the grant. An attempt to reclaim their money has been met with negative results. Case taken. Report #16-0330-001.

Warrant Arrest
On 3/29 at 1408 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. A records check was conducted on both subjects which revealed warrants for both. One subject had a warrant out of Brisbane for $7,500 and the other out of Sonoma County for $10,000. Both warrants were confirmed and the subjects were transported to the county jail. Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
On 3/28 at 1008 hours, officer conducted a probation search of a residence. The subject on probation was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and a pipe used to smoke it. The subject was also found to be under the influence of methamphetamine. All are violations of his probation. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the county jail. On 3/27 at 0210 hours, an officer contacted the occupants of a suspicious vehicle. The officer smelled marijuana and searched the vehicle. Methamphetamine and open alcohol containers were found. On 3/26 at 0831 hours, officers responded to a call of a male and female yelling. Upon arrival officers made contact with a boyfriend and girlfriend who had been involved in a physical altercation. On 3/25 between 2100 and 2350 hours, an unknown suspect(s) smashed the window of a vehicle and took a tool bag containing a cellphone, social security card, and ATM card were taken. On 3/25 at 2104 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. Upon conducting a records check a warrant out of Redwood City was revealed for $7,500. Suspended Driver’s License
On 3/25 at 1545 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with license plates that did not belong to the vehicle. Upon contact the officer found the driver to be driving on a suspended license, no proof of insurance, expired registration and displaying false plates with intent. The vehicle was towed from the scene and the driver was cited and released. Case to be founded to the District Attorney’s Office for prosecution. Case closed by arrest. Report #16-0325-002.

On 3/24 at 1300 hours, a girlfriend and boyfriend were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical. On 3/23 it was reported that an employee that had been terminated was refusing to return a laptop and computer owned by the company. On 3/24, officers spoke with the terminated employee who stated the items had been mailed to the company. The items were later received and the business requested no further police assistance. Sometime between 3/10 and 3/11 an unknown suspect entered an unlocked home and took $750 in cash. This same crime happened again on 3/15 when $833 was taken. The doors are kept unlocked because the occupant has lost her keys. The victim also stated she suspects a friend of hers has taken the cash. On 3/8 the reporting party stated she had posted on craigslist that she had a room for rent. She communicated with a subject via email and text who asked her to cash a check from Peoples United Bank. Warrant Arrest
On 3/8 at 1429 hours, an officer located a suspicious vehicle. The officer contacted the car dealer on the paper plate who stated the woman who purchased the car used a fake name and never paid for the car. The woman then came out of a house and spoke with the officer. A records check revealed a $165,000 warrant out of Richmond PD. The warrant was confirmed and the subject was taken into custody. On 3/5 at 0320 hours, a male and a female subject were involved in a verbal dispute. The female stated the male shoved her, slapped her, brandished a knife and threw her phone out the window. Juvenile Contact
On 3/3 at 1556 hours, an officer was driving down the street when he heard a juvenile yell an expletive at him. The officer stopped and asked him why, and the juvenile stated it was his right. The officer contacted the juveniles’ parents who asked the officer to transport their child home. Prior to getting in the patrol vehicle, the officer asked the juvenile if he had anything illegal on him and the juvenile stated there was marijuana and a pipe in his bag. The juvenile was later released to his parents and an informational report was taken. Report #16-0304-002.
