Officers were given a wallet that was located at the Brisbane Post Office. The wallet was booked into evidence for safekeeping.

Sometime between 07/30/2023 at approximately 2130 hours and 07/31/2023 at approximately 0800 hours, the victim's vehicle was broken into. The victim left the vehicle unlocked and had a black luggage with approximately $3000.00 worth of clothing taken. There is no suspect(s) information at this time.

Sometime between 07/28/2023 approximately 1530 hours to 07/31/2023 0400 hours, an unknown suspect(s) stole approximately $20,000 in copper wire. The Unknown suspect(s) cut the copper wires with an unknown tool and stole the wires. The victim's property is not gated. I recommend that this case be suspended pending further leads or suspect information.

Officers contacted a vehicle had stolen license plates. The plates were removed from the vehicle.

Officers responded to the report of a neighbor who had urinated on another neighbor's vehicle. The suspect agreed to clean the vehicle and the victim did not want anything done regarding the incident.

Officers contacted a subject who was subsequently arrested for a warrant.

Sometime between 7/27/2023 and 7/28/2023, an unknown suspect(s) entered the parking lot located at 2850 Bayshore Boulevard via an unknown route. The suspect(s) used a sharp object and attempted to enter via the right front window of the victim’s vehicle, with negative results. The suspect(s) then used a spark plug and managed to shatter the right rear window of the victim’s vehicle. The suspect(s) accessed the hood area of the victim’s vehicle and cut the wiring that attaches to the battery to disarm the alarm. There is no suspect information at this time.

Confidential Person (CP) located a bag in her boyfriend's vehicle. The bag contained booking information from patrons of the Double Tree hotel. The bag also contained possible credit card information of patrons from the hotel. The boyfriend was suspected of being the owner of the bag. The boyfriend was later interviewed, but denied being in possession of the Double Tree documents.

Subject came to the BPD and completed his monthly 290 Registry.

BPD Code Enforcement witnessed a vehicle doing doughnuts in the intersection causing damage to the roadway. During the investigation, officers were able to get a license plate from video surveillance and were able to get a hold of the owner. The owner of the vehicle's son was contacted and will be charged with Reckless Driving and Vandalism.

BPD responded for a cross report regarding Child Protective Services. Officers investigated the incident and forwarded the case to CPS.

Officers contacted a subject who was out of compliance with his sex offender registration for 2 years. The subject was placed under arrest and transported to the county jail.

Vehicle was towed for parking in excess of 72 hours.

A backpack containing food items was found and turned into the BPD. Since the items were perishable, the property was discarded and not kept for safekeeping.

Officers located a subject sitting on the ground. The subject was intoxicated and she was subsequently transported to a medical facility.

Subject reported that his ex girlfriend entered his residence and damaged his TV and stole personal belongings. The victim declined to press charges.

Sometime between 03/21/2023 and 04/30/2023, an unknown suspect took jewelry worth approximately $24,804 without the victim's consent from her residence. This case is suspended pending further investigative leads.

Officers located and recovered a stolen vehicle which was later removed from SVS.

On 07/17/2023, at an unknown time, an unknown subject contacted victim via a mobile device claiming to be Wells Fargo Bank. The subject fraudulently stole $500 USD from the victim via Zella from her Chase Banking account. This case is suspended pending further investigative leads.

A subject who has a restraining order against him entered a business he is restrained from. Case was forwarded to the DA's Officer for review of the court order violation.

On 07/14/23 between 1100 hours and 2200 hours, an unknown suspect stole a package worth approximately $600 from the victim's mailbox. The victim did not give anyone else permission to take the package. There is no suspect information at this time.

Multiple businesses were the victim's of mail theft. An unknown male and female forced entry into 6 mail boxes. Unknown amount of mail stolen.

The suspect took fruit from the victim's tree without permission. The victim placed the suspect under Citizen's Arrest (CA) by completing the CA form. The victim was cited and released from the scene without incident.

A resident came to the Brisbane Police Department to turn in some expired flares that she had on her boat. She turned in one Olin flare gun, twelve 12 gauge aerial signal flares, two Ikros hand-held rocket parachute flares, and three Ikros hand-held flares. I collected these items and booked them for destruction.
