Officers contacted a driver of a vehicle who was subsequently arrested for DUI, Driving on a Suspended License for DUI, Obstruction of a Peace Officers, and Ignition Interlock Device Required. The driver was transported and booked into the county jail.

Officers contacted a subject for follow up regarding a hit and run collision that had occurred involving a commercial vehicle and hitting and causing minor damage to a sedan. The suspect agreed to provide insurance information.

Between 12/21/2023 at approximately 1200 hours and 12/26/2023 at approximately 1300 hours, an unknown suspect(s)attempted to steal a ford van. The suspect(s)damaged the front passenger door keyhole, while attempting to make entry into the van. The suspect(s)made entry and damaged the ignition cylinder and steering column. Video surveillance did not capture the suspect(s). This case has been suspended pending further investigative leads.

On 12/26/2023 at approximately 0706 hours, A subject was treated at the Kaiser Permanente Hospital for a gunshot wound that occurred at a residence in Brisbane. The subject had left the hospital before police could contact him. I recommend this report be informational only.

Sometime between 12/25/2023 at 0810 hours and 12/26/2023 at 0825 hours, unknown subject(s) entered the locked area where the Department of Public Works’ water tanks are located at 940 Humboldt Road in the City of Brisbane, San Mateo County and spray-painted graffiti on the water tanks. There were no witnesses or surveillance video cameras in the area. This case is suspended pending further investigative leads.

On 12/24/2023 between 2330 hours and 12/25/2023 at 1130 hours, an unknown suspect(s) shattered a window at a business. No entry inside was made. The repair cost was estimated at $350. This case is suspended pending further investigative leads.

A subject was contacted during a welfare check. The subject was evaluated for mental health reasons and was subsequently placed on a mental health hold. The subject was transported to a mental health facility for evaluation.

Officers contacted a subject during a welfare check. The subject was subsequently arrested for 3 outstanding warrants.

A subject slipped and fell in the parking lot of the Brisbane Marina. The subject was transported to SF General Hospital for treatment to an injured leg.

A 15-year-old Missing Juvenile (MJ) was reported missing and was last seen leaving 163 Visitacion Avenue in the City of Brisbane. MJ was entered into the Missing Unidentified Person System (MUPS) but later located/returned to her mother. MJ was removed from MUPS, and this case is for information.

Unknown suspect(s) stole a package that was delivered without the victim's permission. Total loss was approximately $5,646.94. No suspect information at this time. Pending further investigative leads.

Officers contacted a subject who was subsequently arrested for multiple warrants and was booked into the county jail.

BPD received an APS cross report regarding several fraudulent checks being cashed from the victim's bank account. The bank was concerned that victim may have been a victim of Elder Abuse. The victim reported that three checks totaling $6,530 USD were issued from her account. The checks were fraudulent. The checks were cashed on 12/4/2023. No suspect information at this time.

Brisbane Police Officers/Sergeant responded to Daly City on a outside assist where a victim was shot. This case is for information and should be forwarded to the Daly City Police Department.

Officers responded for the report of a hit and run accident where a vehicle hit a fire hydrant. Officers located the vehicle which was parked at a nearby business and all information was obtained.

Officers contacted a male subject who stated that he was stressed out and wanted to kill himself. The subject was subsequently placed on a mental health hold and transported to a medical facility for evaluation.

Officers received a cross report from CPS to investigate a suspected case of child abuse. The investigation will remain open and will be ongoing.

Officers contacted a subject who was reported as a missing person. The subject was removed from MUPS.

Officers contacted a subject who was subsequently arrested for DUI and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

A subject came to the BPD and turned in a firearm for destruction. Officers collected the firearm and it was booked for destruction.

Officers responded for the report of a dispute between a female and male who share custody of a 1 year old child. The dispute was verbal only and never got physical. Both parties were separated and were provided with CORA information. A CORA referral was submitted.

Officers contacted a subject during a DUI checkpoint and subsequently arrested the driver for DUI.

Officers were patrolling in San Franscisco and contact 2 subjects. One of the subjects was a protected party in a court order. One subject was arrested for violating the court order as well as providing officers with a false ID. The subject was arrested and booked into the county jail.

Sometime between 12/12/2023 and 12/14/2023, an unknown suspect(s) took the victim’s vehicle without permission. The vehicle was entered into the Stolen Vehicle System (SVS). There is no suspect information at this time.

Officers responded to the area on the report of domestic violence where the victim reported that he was punched by his girlfriend in the arm. The suspect was interviewed and admitted she punched the victim in the left arm with her left fist. The suspect also admitted she punched the victim a second time when he grabbed her left arm the first time. No injuries were noted on either suspect or the victim. The suspect was arrested and subsequently booked into the county jail.

Officers located subjects attempting to steal a vehicle. The subjects fled from officers in an unreported stolen vehicle and led officers on a high speed pursuit into San Francisco. Once the pursuit entered into a residential area, officers ended the pursuit. Suspects are still at large.

Officers contacted a subject during a vehicle stop and the driver was subsequently arrested and booked into county jail for DUI.

Officers located and recovered a stolen vehicle that was being driven. A stop was made and the driver did not know the vehicle was stolen as he had a key for the vehicle. The vehicle was released to the owner.

An armed robbery occurred where multiple suspects displayed handguns and pressed them against the victim’s stomach. The suspects demanded the victim's property and personal belongings. The victim gave the suspects the keys to the work van and the victim was able to retreat and call the police. The suspects attempted to fraudulently used the victim’s credit card in Emeryville, California. Further follow-up to be conducted and the investigation will be on going.

On 12/8/2023 between 0755 hours and 1150 hours, an unknown suspect(s) damaged the victim’s vehicle while it was parked. There is no suspect(s) information.

Officers responded to an assist regarding an elderly female who fell on the street which was being repaved and re-lined and burnt her hand on the hot tar/pavement.

A hit and run collision occurred causing property damage only. No injuries were reported.

Officers responded for the report of a Domestic Battery. A husband and wife were involved in a physical altercation where the husband threw an unknown liquid at the wife causing pain and discomfort to her left eye. The husband fled the scene prior to law enforcement arrival.

Officers were patrolling Daly City and contacted a subject who was subsequently arrested for a warrant.

BPD K9 unit responded for mutual aid to search the area for bullet casings. The K9 unit did not locate any bullet casings.

A suspect in a stolen vehicle fled from officers. The suspect had a juvenile passenger while evading police in a reckless manner. Eventually, the suspect left the vehicle and continued to flee on foot. The suspect was eventually apprehended after hiding in some bushes. The suspect was arrested and booked into the County Jail for violations of 496D(a) CPC, 2800.2(a) CVC, and 273A(a) CPC.

Vehicle collision occurred and minor injuries were reported.

The victim came to the BPD to report that his vehicle had been parked in a business parking lot and at an unknown time was damaged by an unknown vehicle. The victim's vehicle sustained minor damage. Property damage only.

Sometime between 12/1/2023 and 12/5/2023, an unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s vehicle and took the vehicle's registration, insurance, and two fob keys without permission. There is no suspect information at this time.

A domestic violence related incident occurred between a male and female who formerly dated. The male and female were in a verbal argument, The verbal argument between the two never became physical and no medical assistance was needed from either party. Officers responded for the report that a male subject came to a female friend's house and broke the door frame to her front door of her residence. The male never entered the residence and only damaged the door frame. The cost to repair the door frame is approximately $1000.
